Hi tita here im just your average girl trying to make it out in the world. Most of my blogs will be pictures or videos that caught my attention as well as poety I have written. All I ask is if you decide to post one of my poems please give me credit.
“I should know. I have seen the past. The present. The future. For me, time shall always move forwards. And it shall always move backwards. Time is ever moving. Ever flowing. And now this one boy, one single boy, had affected the time stream like no other before him. In all my years of existence, I had never met a boy quite like him. And I will never meet a boy like him again.” Clockwork~ King of ghost zone/A fanfiction on fanfiction.net
australia’s got a lot of fucked up shit going on but at least we can say our last mass shooting was 18 years ago
because after it happened we placed higher restrictions on gun ownership
because that’s the logical fucking thing to do
Your also surrounded by the sea. America is having issues between our border and Mexico. Mexico is having issues with the drug cartel. The drug cartel is sneaking over to America and starting to cause havoc. West Texas is getting the brunt of it Marfa, Alpine, Elpaso is all being bothered because of the border issue. They bring drugs and illegal drugs over and sell it to the one with the most cash. Even if this went away and the guns there will always be some other weapon. In my town yes there has been two shooting but over 15 places have been robbed by people with knives. One man was beaten to death with a baseball bat. One poor lady was dragged from her home and was raped and stabbed repeatedly. There has been at least 7 school stabbings that I can name off. About three years ago the big thing was burning people alive there was about five of those incidents. My point is the problem isn’t the guns if someone wants to kill, rob,or rape they will find some way to do it. The guns arnt the issues its the monsters that hide behind them.
Polish doctor that refused to perform abortion named a “hero”
Dr Bogdan Chazan was visited by an expecting mother (32 weeks into pregnancy), who already had 5 miscarriages before and was worried about her health. It turned out that the fetus had hydrocephalus, undeveloped brain and was missing many bones from its skull. The Doctor refused to perform an abortion and didn’t send the woman to another hospital which could do so (according to polish law, if a doctor doesn’t want to perform an abortion, he has to choose another hospital which will agree to do so). Chazan was named a “local hero” and “true warrior of Jesus in the name of life of the unborn” by many polish politicians and catholic activists. He used conscience clause as an excuse for his actions.
The woman gave birth to the child through a C-section. She and her husband spent 10 painful days watching their deformed child die a horrible death. When she finally decided to speak out, she said:
“During these 10 days, no priest, no pro life activist or even dr Chazan came to see the child, to ask if they can help. It was really hard to look at our child. We knew what was coming, but it was still very hard to cope with”
Congratulations, pro-lifers - another “life” saved, another “happy” child and “happy” family.
As a random thought…
So in the comics Hawkeye has 80% hearing loss.
The Black Widow is Russian.
Can you imagine when they’re on a mission and something goes wrong; the police are about to arrest them and they fall back on Plan H.
Black Widow, “So remember, you’re deaf and I don’t speak English”
All day long I’ve been thinking of a game I use to play. It was called sphinx and the cursed mummy. The game was a hidden gem I remember playing for hours on my gamecube when I was younger.
This scene still breaks my heart each and every single time I watch it.
Azula was a terrible, horrible person. She would have set the world aflame and laughed over the broken carcass of her brother.
But she was fourteen.
She was so ruined and twisted by her childhood and by her nation, driven to insanity by the expectations placed upon her.
Azula was bad and yet I can’t help but feel so terribly sorry for her.
"I don’t have sob stories like all of you."
SHE WAS FUCKING FOURTEEN WHAT
"My own mother….thought I was a monster.
She was right, of course, but it still hurt.”
actually, i think one of the shows strengths is that they didn’t shy away from what a horrible tragedy this was. even though she was clearly a villain and did unspeakably awful things, this scene was still framed as sad. there was no celebrating- they just look at her sadly.
the music for the battle that leads up to this moment is sad too- it’s an epic battle, visually probably one of the biggest things done in the entire series, and they could have played it with thumping, energetic, dangerous music. but instead it’s quiet and somber. because the whole scenario is heartbreaking, and they know it.
i think the fact that a kid’s show had so much respect for it’s viewers and their ability to understand the complexity of this situation is what makes avatar great.

that’s almost too cruel
I had to do this once with Privateer II: The Darkening. It gained a bit when he said “I bet you didn’t play it through, I bet somebody just told you how…” and I was able to smile gently and say “God, possibly, since I wrote the game.” And plainly the Deity was with me that day, as I happened to be carrying docs from my UK agent (who’d done the deal) that showed not only that I was the writer, but the five-figure sum I had been paid. …It was a happy day for me. Not so much for him. I’d never had a referent for the word “slink” for a full grown male before. As in “slink away in utter dejection.” I smiled for at least three days without stopping. And am smiling now… I had completely forgotten about this.
Reblogging because “I beat the game” is fantastic, but “I wrote the damn thing” is even better.
I’m not a gamer but I’ll always reblog these.
Vicious. I love it.
